The time has come to celebrate the birth of our King and our Saviour. Let’s give a gift to Jesus this Christmas!
In Matthew 25:31-46, Jesus paints the picture of His return. We see Jesus and all His glory sitting on His glorious throne with all the angels around Him. All the nations are gathered in front of Him. He then calls those on His right to claim their inheritance, ‘the kingdom prepared for [them] since the creation of the world’.

It becomes clear that the mission that these faithful ones have successfully fulfilled was to help those in need around them and in doing so, to help and show love to Jesus himself… it was all for Jesus.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ (Matthew 25:35-36)
Let us all find a way to bless those around us who are hungry, thirsty, strangers & friendless, needing clothes, ill, and in prison. In doing so, we are directly blessing Jesus; we are directly giving a gift to Him.
